Selangor FC's season resumes after the International FIFA break today against Negeri Sembilan FC in the 2024/25 FA Cup at 5:30PM at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya.

This is the 107th meeting between #SFCNSE. The Merah Kuning squad has won 65 matches and drawn 19 times. In addition, the Red Giants have scored a total of 269 goals against today's opposition. The last time the Red Giants squad faced The Jang was in the Super League which ended with a 4-0 win for SFC.

According to the Head Coach of Selangor FC, Nidzam Jamil, he believes that the opportunity given will be taken with a positive attitude and mentality, "Honestly we are pleased because I was able to give playing minutes to almost all the players during the tournament in Jakarta especially to those who could not be fielded in the league before the FIFA break. I am sure that the FA Cup has a different aura (compared to the league) as it pose a different challenge, however our team will be fully prepared with the best attitude and mentality. There won't be a lot of changes but I hope whoever is listed will give their best performance this evening. I hope that Selangor FC will be able to grind out a positive result today," he enthused.

As for the players update, Izwan Yuslan and Reziq Banihani, the new import striker of the Red Giants, will not be available against Negeri Sembilan FC this evening due to the injuries they suffered. There will only be one match held during the Round of 16 of the 2024/25 FA Cup, while the Quarter-Final and Semi-Final stages will be conducted over two legs. The winner of this evening's match will meet Kuching City FC in the Quarter Finals.
